History

2017

Association for South Sudanese Languages Institute (ASSLI) was established in 2017 although the group has been active and been committed to providing incredible activities.  It was a collective effort for the group to come up with an immediate call to restore South Sudanese Indigenous languages, reserve rich culture by developing new school books that reflect the new curriculum to serve the refugee and new immigrant communities.  A demand to interpret and translate English into other various languages and many dialects in the South Sudanese community- support students to balance quality academic with social, physical and emotional prosperity using Canadian and South Sudan educational curriculum styles and cultural traditions
